Line 1

I’m going to begin counting up for 4 seconds. While I do that, I want you to take a deep breath in.

Line 2

1, 2, 3, 4

Line 3

Hold that breath in for 7 seconds.

Line 4

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.

Line 5

Now breath out for 8 seconds

Line 6

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.

Line 7

Repeat this breathing pattern for as many times as you like until you feel more at ease.
